You must be willing to maintain a high level of interaction and communication in your courses. Terminal degrees are required for our master's degree programs in Business, Healthcare, and Nursing. Our partners and our staff are building a team of experienced classroom teachers to serve as instructors for our quality online courses. Our online instructor's responsibilities include teaching and working collaboratively with an online faculty team to plan and instruct online courses for ongoing teacher professional development and multiple-subject and single-subject Clear Credentials. Other responsibilities include coaching and advising students online, as well as writing and contributing to online training course design and content.
Your minimum qualifications must include a Bachelors (preferably a Masters) degree in education with an emphasis on curriculum and instruction. The Grief Connections Online Counselor will provide web based counseling services to eligible funeral One beneficiaries utilizing e-mail, instant messaging (IM), live chat, two way interactive web-cams, and other on-line web resources. Will perform assessment of eligible clients for appropriate services and interventions. Collaborates with funeral home's internal and external associates and providers to facilitate appropriate, timely access to grief counseling services. Maintains confidentiality in all interactions providing an avenue for private, non-reportable discussion of issues.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Must have degree (Masters Degree preferred) and/or certification in field Social Services, Counseling, Ministry Psychology. Minimum of 2-5 years counseling or serving in Behavioral Mental Health capacity.
