MarylandOnline (consortium of 19 accredited colleges/universities in Maryland that offer online courses, programs, and certificates)
You must hold a masters degree in the field in which you are interested in teaching. This degree must include a minimum of 18 and in some fields as many as 24 hours in the major. It will be useful if you have had direct work experience in your field and/or teaching experience.
Additionally, you should have significant technical skills including the ability to use MS Word, MS Excel, the Internet, and e-mail, at least. Specific job announcements may specify other computer and technical skills. You should have a reliable ISP and good bandwidth to support your activity.
