Work hours may vary from a traditional daytime schedule and can include both day and evening classes. Courses may be taught in both a classroom setting, general lab setting, and/or online. Adjunct instructors teaching online courses will be provided with training in online instruction.

1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent* with education or training preparing the person for the occupational area being taught.
2. Two years (4,000 hours) related occupational experience.
3. Must be certifiable with Wisconsin Technical College System.
*Educational equivalency: Occupational experience combined with education and training totaling 7 years or 14,000 hours is equivalent to a bachelor's degree.
Some sections require expertise in teaching and learning online and/or over IP video.

Heald College, a regionally accredited private career college with campuses in California, Oregon and Hawaii, is seeking qualified adjunct online instructors.
Heald College has been preparing students for workplace success since our establishment in 1863. Offering online courses since January 2008, Heald is expanding its course offerings, and reaching new students. We are looking for experienced online instructors with a passion for teaching and learning, and a track record of successful student outcomes. Experience in course development using eCollege helpful, but not required.
